8:30 a.m. WATP: Walk Away the Pounds: Exercise along with a video and your peers  

9:00 a.m. : Zumba Gold: Join Certified Zumba Instructor Jodi Anderson as they exercise to lively fun music! Small class fee for members and non members. 

9:00 a.m.: Crocheting & Craft group: Bring your own crochet or craft projects and work alongside your peers!

9:30 a.m.: Strength and Balance

10:00 a.m. Quilting Group: This is for anyone who enjoys quilting and would like to work on your own projects

with other women, plus get ideas, advice and help from fellow quilters. 

10:30 a.m.: Hospice Bingo & lite Breakfast  (1st Monday only) 

10:30 a.m.; Monday Chair Yoga: Small class fee. Strengthening hands, legs and spine and core. Weight bearing and

lifting exercises. All XARSC Yoga classes are taught by Josie Reno, a certified Chair yoga instructor

12:00 p.m.: Stringbenders Music Group: Come on and sit a spell, play music, sing along, or just listen to

various musicians play and sing for an afternoon!

1:00 p.m.; Penny Bingo (1st & 3rd Tuesday) or White elephant Bingo (2nd & 4th Tuesday: Bring an item for prizes)

2:00 p.m.: Adult Color Art: The newest craze for stress relief! Enjoy coloring with your peers, its the hippest thing these days!

3:00 p.m.; Movie: Join us for a free movie each week.

10:00 a.m.; Bridge Lessons

10:00 a.m.; Line Dancing: Come learn how to Line Dance among fellow seniors. Great exercise!

10:30 a.m.; Chair Yoga: Small class fee. Posture, muscle balancing, back, bones and joints program; Breathing techniques;

Using Qigong movements to increase energy levels and promote well being. 

11:30 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.: LUNCH 1st, 3rd and 4th Wednesdays. NOTE: The 2nd Wednesday of each month is the

XARSC Monthly Luncheon which is by RSVP only  at 376-4353. Call and add your name to the list at 376-4353.

Pay at the door day of the Luncheon. $5.00 per person. Great fellowship, food and entertainment.

10:00: Coping with grief: Coffee and Conversation (2nd Thursday of each month only): Join others dealing with loss

and grief as we share stories and encourage each other. Led by a liaison from Hospice.  

10:30 a.m.; Chair Yoga: Small class fee. Weight lifting (with or without weights) followed by a total body self massage

(including hands, feet, face and ears) using Qigong techniques.

10:30 a.m.; Bible Study: Join us for an hour of fellowship and nondenominational discussion on the bible,

with longtime Volunteer group leader Velma Joslin

12:30 p.m.; Progressive Euchre

XARSC PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES
The Xenia Adult Recreation and Services Center offers a  variety of programs, classes, trips and activities for senior 50 years

of age and older. We offer daily activities as well as special events, educational classes, special outings, etc.

The Greene County Community Action Partnership will ONCE AGAIN be at the Xenia Adult Recreation and Services Center

338 S. Progress Drive to assist individuals with applying for the following ENERGY ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS:

Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) Eligibility: Up to 175% of the federal poverty Level.

PIPP (Percentage of Income Payment Plan) Eligibility: Up to 150% of the Federal Poverty Level
and Winter Crisis Program.: Up to 175% of the federal poverty Level W/disconnect notice.
A CAP Intake Specialist will be on hand to assist you. WALK-INS ONLY.

You MUST bring the following that apply to your household, to apply for the CAP Programs
1. Photo ID for the Primary Applicant
            2.  Utility bill: Vectren Bill, DP&L Bill, Disconnect notice if applicable,               

Proof of other primary heat used (Fuel Oil, etc)
                                  3. Proof of Citizenship for everyone in the household.                                     

Could include: Birth certificate, voter registration card, U.S. Passport,  INS Form 1-94, military service record

4. Social Security Card for everyone in the household
5. Proof of income for the last 30 days for every adult in your household.

Could include: Paystubs:

If paid Weekly = 4 Paystubs; Bi-weekly =  2 Paystubs; Monthly = 1 Paystub
Social Security or SSI Award Letter, Pension
Public Assistance: TANF | OWF | ADCR
Unemployment: summary printout of current claim history
Self Employed: Recent IRS Form 1040: Entire Document and IRS Transcript
Zero or Limited Income: Documented proof of how you are meeting your needs.

Support provided by others: Signed and dated statement from person providing support including contact information
College Education: A “Fee Bill” from your institution that details costs for tuition, fees, and books,

as well as assistance received from grants and loans.
Self-Employed or Seasonally Employed adult household members will be required to provide

income documentation from the last 12 months.

                     6. Housing If Renting: Current Lease with names of all residents. Public Housing Residents: HUD Tenant Eligibility  and Rent Procedures Form (HUD-50059), HCV Program Notice of Rent Change Form, OR Tenant Recertification Printout 


Income guidelines for HEAP 2020: (175% or less of FPL)
1 person household can make up to: $1,827 per month or less
2 person household can make up to: $2,466 per month or less
3 person household can make up to: $3,110 per month or less
4 person household can make up to: $3,755 per month or less
The higher the # in household the higher the income guidelines.

Income Guidelines for PIPP 2020: (150% or less or FPL)
1 person household can make up to: $1,561 per month or less
2 person household can make up to: $2,113 per month or less
3 person household can make up to: $2,667 per month or less
4 person household can make up to: $3,218 per month or less
The higher the # in household the higher the income guidelines.
